José Auriemo Neto, Creating a Global Brand Name for JHSF and Cidade Jardim

José Auriemo Neto is a Brazilian business leader in the fields of fashion and real estate. While Neto has had many notable accomplishments, his most prominent is with Cidade Jardim. This upscale shopping mall in Sao Paulo (Brazil), is not only frequented by locals but by tourists as well. This location is so impressive, many retailers have hung their hats here that didn’t previously have any business in the country. Neto saw the demand for designer fashion labels, fine dining, and a luxurious shopping experience. He earned a distinction of being in the Business of Fashion 300. An “A-list” of those involved in shaping the trillion dollar industry. This is unique as most of the others on the list are strictly involved in fashion marketing or design.

Prior to Cidade Jardim, José Auriemo Neto had many accomplishments along the same lines. He graduated from Fundação Armando Álvares Penteado University in Sao Paulo, Brazil with his educational focus being on engineering and development. He joined JHSF, his family’s owned and operated real estate company in the early 90’s. He got experience managing through being the head of Parkbem. This company was focused on parking services, as an extension of JHSF. Later, he took on other projects developing shopping centers in areas such as Ponta Negra and, Bela Vita. Neto eventually moved on to be named as the CEO and Chairman of JHSF, succeeding his father’s tenure.

Seeking opportunity, José Auriemo Neto not only benefitted himself and his family’s company but, the citizens of Brazil. The desire for fashion in the booming economy was a long time concern for its residents. The success has recently moved even beyond South America into Europe. Neto is listed as the Founder and CEO of Cidade Jardim, based in Lisbon, Portugal. Only time will tell how Neto will continue to make his organizations a brand name worldwide.
